Aruba weather and climate
Aruba is the perfect place to plan your holiday if you don’t want to have any surprises with the holiday. Usually, before you go in your planned holiday, you check to see how the weather will be in the period of time you will be staying there. There are many web sites available where you can check the weather.
Aruba is situated near the Ecuador, so it haves a tropical climate. But this doesn’t mean that it haves only extreme temperatures, because there are also some trade winds that cool a little bit the temperatures. In the weather reports it is mentioned that the average temperature in the Aruba Island is 82 degrees Fahrenheit. That is the equivalent of 27 degrees Celsius. There aren’t great differences between the average temperatures in the summer or winter. For example, the average temperature in August is 89 degrees Fahrenheit, and the highest and lowest possible temperatures are 93 degrees Fahrenheit and 73 degrees Fahrenheit. Now let’s see what temperatures there are in the winter, in December for example: the average temperature is 85 degrees Fahrenheit, the warmest temperature is 91 degrees Fahrenheit and the lowest temperature could reach 70 degrees Fahrenheit.
Neither the difference between the temperatures during day or night aren’t so significative, during the night the temperature is lower with approximate 3 degrees. So it is the perfect temperature if you suddenly are in a romantic mood and you wake up in the morning to watch the sunrise. But the Ecuador is situated close to the Aruba Island, so the sun can be strong during the mid day, between 12 and 3 pm. It is strongly recommended to use sun screen even if you aren’t at the beach, but you are exposed to the sun light. A higher protection sunscreen is recommended.
The other Caribbean islands suffer because of the devastating hurricanes. But the Aruba Island is blessed because it isn’t in the way of any hurricane path or storm. Sometimes it rains. The months when to possibility of rain is higher are the winter ones, January, November and December. In the summer July is the month when it can rain. December is the month when it rains the most of the year. But don’t think that these rains last all day long; they are mostly showers because the trade winds move the clouds and so the rain finishes rather quickly.
